How it works
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied by hand after machine polishing, which chemically bonds to your car's paintwork. Once cured, it forms a hard, glossy protective layer over the paint.
What it protects against
UV rays, road salt, bird droppings and everyday contamination — while making the car easier to wash and keeping that just-detailed gloss for years, not weeks.
Why it's not sold on its own
Ceramic coating locks in whatever the paint looks like underneath it. That's why it's only ever applied straight after a Stage 1 or Stage 2 machine polish, rather than sold as a standalone add-on to any valet.
Glass & wheel coating too
The same protection is available for glass (+£60) and alloy wheel faces (+£60) as add-ons alongside your paintwork coating.

Getting a detail every year or so anyway? The standard 2-year coating gives full protection without paying for years you won't use. Want long-term protection, or won't be detailing again for a while? The 7-year upgrade is worth the extra £200. Got a brand new car? New Car Protection includes the 7-year coating as standard — no upgrade needed.
